Charleston Literary Festival Announces Premiere of Documentary in Advance of Its 2023 Festival

CHARLESTON, SC -- Charleston Literary Festival proudly announces the premiere of its documentary film "From the Bloomsbury Group to the Lowcountry: Charleston Literary Festival" at 7:30 p.m. ET on November 2 on South Carolina ETV (SCETV). The hour-long film, made possible thanks to Atomic Focus Entertainment, SC Humanities, and the Fiederowicz Family Fund, provides an insider perspective on the standout 2022 Festival and paves the way for the eagerly awaited 2023 Festival, scheduled from November 3–12. 

Featured in the film are lively discussions featuring preeminent authors who are globally recognized and at the pinnacle of their careers, such as Geraldine Brooks, Imani Perry, Tim Bouverie, Tina Brown, Eddie Glaude Jr., and Patrick Radden Keefe, alongside esteemed individuals such as Charleston’s Mayor John Tecklenburg, as well as a glimpse into the community bonds between the writers, readers, and lovers of ideas.

The documentary showcases Charleston Literary Festival's impact, emphasizing the importance of humanities-focused events featuring speakers alongside emerging literary voices while engaging conversations with readers that inspire intergenerational learning and widen the reach of impactful authors and cultural exchanges throughout the community.
