LOS ANGELES, CA -- With the platinum plaque officially in their hands, Indie rock band, The Orion Experience celebrates an amazing milestone today: 100 million streams of their debut album, Cosmicandy. Thanks to the viral success of their songs The Cult of Dionysus, Obsessed With You, and All Dolled Up, The Orion Experience has been able to reach a new audience of listeners who are voraciously streaming an album that was released in 2006.

Lead singer and songwriter, Orion Simprini was happy to share the news, but not necessarily surprised. “With the popularity of platforms like YouTube and TikTok, more people are being exposed to independent music, and now artists can break through in a way that was only previously possible for major-label artists in the past. We’ve always tried to create high-quality pop music and knew it was only a matter of time before the world caught on.”

The Orion Experience has just released an album of cover songs, appropriately titled “Cosmicovers” and is already at work on another original album set for 2024.
